Marcus Rashford has officially said goodbye to Barcelona after the club decided against signing him on a permanent deal. The England forward will also not return on another loan spell, bringing his time in Catalonia to an end.
In an emotional farewell message, Rashford thanked the club, his teammates and supporters for making his stay unforgettable.
"Extremely grateful to everyone at the club for turning my time here into such a positive and unforgettable experience."
He added:
"I have loved every moment and surely will carry those special memories with me. Wishing the club and all the fans the very best of luck and massive success this season. Visca Barça."
With his Barcelona chapter now closed, Rashford will report back to Manchester United for pre-season training, where his future is expected to become one of the biggest talking points of the summer transfer window.
